Idolly Saldivar (Weir)
National Director, Miss World Belize | Humanitarian | Visionary
A Legacy of Representation
Idolly’s journey began on the global stage, but her heart has always remained rooted in the growth of Belize. Her career in pageantry started at 17 when she was crowned Miss Belmopan 2008. Since then, she has served as a premier cultural ambassador, representing Belize at Miss World 2013 in Bali, Indonesia, and across major international platforms. With over a decade of experience, Idolly transitioned from the runway to the boardroom to ensure that Belizean talent receives the global recognition it deserves.
Turning Passion into Purpose
In 2021, Idolly officially founded The ILS Phoenix Corporation. Her goal was ambitious: to professionalize the pageant industry in Belize while ensuring every crown comes with a commitment to service. As the National Director of Miss World Belize, she has evolved the organization from a franchise holder into a philanthropic powerhouse that mentors young women to become leaders and change-makers.
A Champion for Change
Driven by the belief in "Beauty with a Purpose," Idolly has spearheaded national initiatives that address critical social issues:
Since winning her first title in 2008, Idolly Saldivar-Weir has evolved from a youth advocate into a leading national director, centering her philanthropy on health education and community empowerment.
Early Advocacy (2008–2021)
Before founding her own organization, Saldivar-Weir used her platform as a national representative to focus on public health and social awareness.
HIV/AIDS Education: During her run for Miss World 2013, she served as a youth ambassador, educating young adults on the causes and prevention of HIV/AIDS in Belize.
Human Rights Modeling: She collaborated with the Human Rights Commission for the "Human Beings, Human Rights" campaign and worked with Cnet+ on the "Know Your Status" health awareness initiative.
Youth Mentorship: Starting in 2017, she began facilitating training for local pageant contestants, helping produce winners for pageants like Queen of the Bay Belmopan.
Cancer Treatment Initiatives: Saldivar-Weir partnered with Soleil Medical in Cap Haitien, Haiti to provide medical supplies for the only non-profit cancer treatment center in the region.
The ILS Phoenix Era (2021–Present)
After establishing The ILS Phoenix Corporation, her philanthropic reach expanded into structured, large-scale community projects.
Mental Health Awareness: The "Share Without Fear" campaign was launched, a national initiative featured globally by Miss World Belize - Markeisha Young to break stigmas surrounding mental wellness.
Community Health Initiatives: The organization collaborated with "Smiles 4 Belize" by Miss World Belize - Faith Edgar. The two launched a country-wide dental hygiene tour, and provided sponsored luncheons for families in need through partnerships like "Days of Healing".
Scholarship Programs: The organization has actively provided partial secondary school tuition scholarships, scholarships to its winners, and distributed school supplies to students across Belize.
Strength Beyond the Stage
Idolly’s commitment to advocacy is deeply personal. As an IVF Warrior and the proud mother of a baby boy, she speaks openly about the challenges of fertility and maternal health. Her journey of resilience has added a new dimension to her mission, inspiring her to support women navigating their own health and family paths with courage and grace.
The Vision Forward
Idolly Saldivar-Weir continues to prove that empowerment is the ultimate form of beauty. Through The ILS Phoenix, she is dedicated to giving young women and young adults the tools, the confidence, and the platform to change the world.
For Idolly Saldivar-Weir and The ILS Phoenix Corporation, pageantry is far more than a celebration of beauty. It is a mission-driven platform built on the belief that a crown should serve as a catalyst for community development and social change. Since founding the corporation in 2021, Saldivar-Weir has redefined the pageant experience in Belize by aligning every national titleholder with measurable philanthropic work through the "Beauty with a Purpose" global initiative.
